1ພຣະ­ອົງ​ຊົງ​ກ່າວ​ກັບ​ພວກ​ສາ­ວົກ​ຂອງ​ພຣະ­ອົງ​ວ່າ, “ຍັງ​ມີ​ເສດ­ຖີ​ທີ່​ມີ​ເຈົ້າ​ພະ­ນັກ­ງານ​ຄົນ​ໜຶ່ງ ແລະ​ມີ​ຄົນ​ຟ້ອງ​ຕໍ່​ເສດ­ຖີ​ວ່າ ພະ­ນັກ­ງານ​ຄົນ​ນັ້ນ​ໄດ້​ຜານ​ຊັບ​ຂອງ​ທ່ານ​ເສຍ.And he said also unto the disciples, There was a certain rich man, who had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he was wasting his goods.
2ເສດ­ຖີ​ຈິ່ງ​ເອີ້ນ​ພະ­ນັກ­ງານ​ຄົນ​ນັ້ນ​ມາ​ເວົ້າ​ວ່າ ‘ເລື່ອງ​ທີ່​ເຮົາ​ໄດ້​ຍິນ​ກັບ​ເຈົ້າ​ນັ້ນ​ເປັນ​ຢ່າງ­ໃດ ຈົ່ງ​ລາຍ​ງານ​ກ່ຽວ​ກັບ​ໜ້າ­ທີ່​ຂອງ​ເຈົ້າ​ເສຍ ເພາະ​ເຈົ້າ​ຈະ​ເປັນ​ພະ­ນັກ­ງານ​ຕໍ່​ໄປ​ອີກ​ບໍ່​ໄດ້’.And he called him, and said unto him, What is this that I hear of thee? render the account of thy stewardship; for thou canst be no longer steward.
3ເຈົ້າ​ພະ­ນັກ­ງານ​ນັ້ນ​ຈິ່ງ​ຄຶດ​ໃນ​ໃຈ​ວ່າ ‘ເຮົາ​ຈະ​ເຮັດ​ແນວ­ໃດ​ໜໍ ເພາະ​ນາຍ​ຈະ​ຖອດ​ເຮົາ​ອອກ​ເສຍ​ຈາກ​ໜ້າ­ທີ່​ພະ­ນັກ­ງານ​ແລ້ວ ເຮົາ​ຂຸດ​ດິນ​ກໍ​ບໍ່​ມີ­ແຮງ, ຈະ​ຂໍ­ທານ​ກໍ​ອາຍ​ເຂົາ.And the steward said within himself, What shall I do, seeing that my lord taketh away the stewardship from me? I have not strength to dig; to beg I am ashamed.
4ເຮົາ​ຮູ້​ແລ້ວ​ວ່າ​ຈະ​ເຮັດ​ແນວ­ໃດ​ດີ​ເພື່ອ​ເວ­ລາ​ເຮົາ​ຖືກ​ຖອດ​ຈາກ​ໜ້າ­ທີ່​ພະ­ນັກ­ງານ​ແລ້ວ ເຂົາ​ຈະ​ຮັບ​ເຮົາ​ໄວ້​ໃນ​ເຮືອນ​ຂອງ​ເຂົາ​ໄດ້’.I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.
5ລາວ​ຈິ່ງ​ເອີ້ນ​ລູກ​ໜີ້​ຂອງ​ນາຍ​ມາ​ທຸກ​ຄົນ ແລ້ວ​ຖາມ​ຜູ້​ທຳ­ອິດ​ວ່າ ‘ເຈົ້າ​ເປັນ​ໜີ້​ນາຍ​ຂອງ​ເຮົາ​ເທົ່າ­ໃດ?’.And calling to him each one of his lord's debtors, he said to the first, How much owest thou unto my lord?
6ຜູ້​ນັ້ນ​ກໍ​ຕອບ​ວ່າ ‘ເປັນ​ໜີ້​ນ້ຳ­ມັນ​ຮ້ອຍ​ຖັງ’ ເຈົ້າ​ພະ­ນັກ­ງານ​ນັ້ນ​ຈິ່ງ​ບອກ​ວ່າ ‘ເອົາ​ບັນ­ຊີ​ຂອງ​ເຈົ້າ ນັ່ງ​ລົງ​ແລ້ວ​ຈົດ​ໃສ່​ຫ້າ​ສິບ​ຖັງ​ໄວໆ ເສຍ’.And he said, A hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bond, and sit down quickly and write fifty.
7ແລ້ວ​ກໍ​ຖາມ​ອີກ​ຄົນ​ໜຶ່ງ​ວ່າ ‘ເຈົ້າ​ເດ, ເຈົ້າ​ເປັນ​ໜີ້​ເທົ່າ­ໃດ?’ ຜູ້​ນີ້​ຕອບ​ວ່າ ‘ເປັນ​ໜີ້​ເຂົ້າ­ປຽກ​ຮ້ອຍ​ກຽນ’ ເຈົ້າ​ພະ­ນັກ­ງານ​ຈິ່ງ​ບອກ​ວ່າ ‘ຈົ່ງ​ເອົາ​ບັນ­ຊີ​ຂອງ​ເຈົ້າ​ມາ​ຈົດ​ໃສ່​ແປດ​ສິບ​ກຽນ​ເສຍ’.Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, A hundred measures of wheat. He saith unto him, Take thy bond, and write fourscore.
8ແລ້ວ​ເຈົ້າ​ນາຍ​ກໍ​ສັນ­ລະ­ເສີນ​ເຈົ້າ​ພະ­ນັກ­ງານ​ຜູ້​ບໍ່​ສັດ­ຊື່​ວ່າ ‘ເພິ່ນ​ໄດ້​ເຮັດ​ດ້ວຍ​ຄວາມ​ສະ­ຫລາດ ດ້ວຍ​ວ່າ​ຄົນ​ຝ່າຍ​ໂລກ​ນີ້​ໃນ​ສະ­ໄໝ​ຂອງ​ເຂົາ ເຂົາ​ໃຊ້​ສະ­ຕິ­ປັນ­ຍາ​ສະ­ຫລາດ​ກວ່າ​ຄົນ​ຝ່າຍ​ຄວາມ​ສະ­ຫວ່າງ​ອີກ’.And his lord commended the unrighteous steward because he had done wisely: for the sons of this world are for their own generation wiser than the sons of the light.
9ຝ່າຍ​ເຮົາ ເຮົາ​ບອກ​ທ່ານ​ທັງ­ຫລາຍ​ວ່າ ຈົ່ງ​ເຮັດ​ໃຫ້​ຕົນ​ມີ​ມິດ​ສະ­ຫາຍ​ດ້ວຍ​ຊັບ​ສົມ­ບັດ​ອັນ​ບໍ່​ຍຸດ­ຕິ​ທຳ ເພື່ອ​ເວ­ລາ​ຊັບ​ນັ້ນ​ເສຍ​ໄປ​ແລ້ວ ເຂົາ​ຈະ​ໄດ້​ຕ້ອນ­ຮັບ​ພວກ​ທ່ານ​ໄວ້​ໃນ​ບ່ອນ​ອາ​ໃສ​ອັນ​ຖາ­ວອນ​ເປັນ­ນິດ.And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends by means of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when it shall fail, they may receive you into the eternal tabernacles.
10“ຄົນ​ທີ່​ສັດ­ຊື່​ໃນ​ຂອງ​ເລັກ​ນ້ອຍ​ກໍ​ສັດ­ຊື່​ໃນ​ຂອງ​ຫລາຍ ແລະ​ຄົນ​ທີ່​ບໍ່​ສັດ­ຊື່​ໃນ​ຂອງ​ເລັກ​ນ້ອຍ​ກໍ​ບໍ່​ສັດ­ຊື່​ໃນ​ຂອງ​ຫລາຍ​ເໝືອນ​ກັນ.He that is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much: and he that is unrighteous in a very little is unrighteous also in much.
11ເຫດ​ສັນ­ນັ້ນ​ຖ້າ​ພວກ​ທ່ານ​ບໍ່​ໄດ້​ສະ­ແດງ​ຕົວ​ເປັນ​ຄົນ​ສັດ­ຊື່​ໃນ​ຊັບ​ສົມ­ບັດ​ອັນ​ບໍ່​ຍຸດ­ຕິ​ທຳ ໃຜ​ຈະ​ມອບ​ຊັບ​ສົມ­ບັດ​ອັນ​ທ່ຽງ​ແທ້​ໃຫ້​ພວກ​ທ່ານ.If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true [riches]?
12ແລະ​ຖ້າ​ພວກ​ທ່ານ​ບໍ່​ໄດ້​ສະ­ແດງ​ຕົວ​ເປັນ​ຄົນ​ສັດ­ຊື່​ໃນ​ສິ່ງ​ຂອງ​ຂອງ​ຄົນ​ອື່ນ ໃຜ​ຈະ​ມາ​ມອບ​ສິ່ງ​ຂອງ​ຂອງ​ທ່ານ​ໃຫ້​ແກ່​ທ່ານ.And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another's, who will give you that which is your own?
13ບໍ່​ມີ​ຜູ້​ໃດ​ສາ­ມາດ​ເປັນ​ຂ້ອຍ​ສອງ​ເຈົ້າ​ບ່າວ​ສອງ​ນາຍ​ໄດ້ ເພາະ​ຈະ​ຊັງ​ນາຍ​ຜູ້​ນີ້ ແລ້ວ­ໄປ​ຮັກ​ນາຍ​ຜູ້​ນັ້ນ ຫລື​ຈະ​ຕິດ​ພັນ​ກັບ​ນາຍ​ຜູ້​ນີ້ ແລະ​ປະ­ໝາດ​ນາຍ​ຜູ້​ນັ້ນ ທ່ານ​ຈະ​ເປັນ​ຂ້ອຍ​ໃຊ້​ຂອງພຣະ­ເຈົ້າແລະ​ເປັນ​ຂ້ອຍ​ໃຊ້​ຂອງ​ເງິນ​ຄຳ​ພ້ອມ​ກັນ​ບໍ່​ໄດ້.”No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
14ຝ່າຍ​ພວກຟາ­ຣີ­ຊາຍທີ່​ມີ­ໃຈ​ຮັກ​ຊັບ ເມື່ອ​ໄດ້​ຍິນ​ຄຳ​ເຫລົ່າ­ນັ້ນ​ແລ້ວ​ກໍ​ກ່າວ​ເຍາະ­ເຍີ້ຍ​ພຣະ­ອົງ.And the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, heard all these things; and they scoffed at him.
15ແຕ່​ພຣະ­ອົງ​ກ່າວ​ຕໍ່​ເຂົາ​ວ່າ, “ທ່ານ​ທັງ­ຫລາຍ​ອ້າງ​ຕົວ​ວ່າ​ເປັນ​ຄົນ​ຊອບ​ທຳ​ຕໍ່­ໜ້າ​ມະ­ນຸດ ແຕ່ພຣະ­ເຈົ້າຊົງ​ຊາບ​ໃຈ​ພວກ​ທ່ານ ດ້ວຍ​ວ່າ​ຊຶ່ງ​ເປັນ​ທີ່​ນັບ​ໜ້າ​ຖື​ຕາ​ໃນ​ຖ້າມ­ກາງ​ມະ­ນຸດ ກໍ​ເປັນ​ທີ່​ກຽດ​ຊັງ​ຈຳ­ເພາະ​ພຣະ­ພັກພຣະ­ເຈົ້າ.And he said unto them, Ye are they that justify yourselves in the sight of men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God.
16“ມີ​ພຣະ­ບັນ­ຍັດ​ແລະ​ຜູ້​ປະ­ກາດ​ພຣະ­ທຳ​ຈົນ​ເຖິງ​ສະ­ໄໝໂຢ­ຮັນ ຕັ້ງ­ແຕ່​ນັ້ນ​ມາ​ເຂົາ​ກໍ​ປະ­ກາດ​ຂ່າວ​ປະ­ເສີດ​ເລື່ອງ ລາ­ຊະ​ແຜ່ນ­ດິນ​ຂອງພຣະ­ເຈົ້າ ແລະ​ຄົນ​ທັງ​ປວງ​ກໍ​ຍາດ​ກັນ​ເຂົ້າ​ໃນ​ລາ­ຊະ​ແຜ່ນ­ດິນ​ນັ້ນ.The law and the prophets [were] until John: from that time the gospel of the kingdom of God is preached, and every man entereth violently into it.
17ຟ້າ​ແລະ​ດິນ​ຈະ​ລ່ວງ​ໄປ ກໍ​ງ່າຍ​ກວ່າ​ທີ່​ພຣະ­ບັນ­ຍັດ​ແຕ່​ຈຸດ​ດຽວ​ຈະ​ເປັນ​ໂມ­ຄະ.But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away, than for one tittle of the law to fall.
18“ທຸກ​ຄົນ​ທີ່​ຢ່າ​ຮ້າງ​ເມຍ​ຂອງ​ຕົນ ແລ້ວ­ໄປ​ເອົາ​ເມຍ​ໃໝ່​ກໍ​ຜິດ​ຖານ​ຫລິ້ນ​ຊູ້ ແລະ​ທຸກ​ຄົນ​ທີ່​ເອົາ​ຍິງ​ແມ່­ຮ້າງ​ມາ​ເປັນ​ເມຍ​ກໍ​ຜິດ​ຖານ​ຫລິ້ນ​ຊູ້​ເໝືອນ​ກັນ.Every one that putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and he that marrieth one that is put away from a husband committeth adultery.
19“ຍັງ​ມີ​ເສດ­ຖີ​ຄົນ​ໜຶ່ງ​ນຸ່ງ​ຫົ່ມ​ເສື້ອ​ສີ­ມ່ວງ​ອ່ອນ​ແລະ​ຜ້າ​ປ່ານ​ເນື້ອ​ລະ­ອຽດ ປິ­ຕິ­ຍິນ­ດີ​ດ້ວຍ​ອາ­ຫານ​ການ​ກິນ​ຢ່າງ​ປະ­ນີດ​ທຸກໆ ວັນ.Now there was a certain rich man, and he was clothed in purple and fine linen, faring sumptuously every day:
20ແລະ​ມີ​ຄົນ​ຍາກ­ຈົນ​ຜູ້​ໜຶ່ງ​ຊື່ລາ­ຊະ­ໂຣ ເປັນ​ບາດ​ເຕັມ­ຕົວ ທີ່​ເຂົາ​ຫາມ​ມາ​ຖິ້ມ​ໄວ້​ທີ່​ປະ­ຕູ​ບ້ານ​ເສດ­ຖີ.and a certain beggar named Lazarus was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21ລາ­ຊະ­ໂຣຢາກ​ກິນ​ຂອງ​ທີ່​ຕົກ​ຈາກ​ໂຕະ​ຂອງ​ເສດ­ຖີ​ນັ້ນ​ໃຫ້​ອີ່ມ ແລະ​ຫລາຍ​ກວ່າ​ນັ້ນ​ໝາ​ກໍ​ຍັງ​ມາ​ເລຍ​ບາດ​ຂອງ​ລາວ.and desiring to be fed with the [crumbs] that fell from the rich man's table; yea, even the dogs come and licked his sores.
22ຢູ່​ມາ​ຄົນ​ຍາກ­ຈົນ​ຜູ້​ນັ້ນ​ກໍ​ຕາຍ ແລະ​ຝູງ​ເທ­ວະ­ດາ​ໄດ້​ຮັບ​ເອົາ​ໄປ​ໄວ້​ໃນ​ເອິກ​ຂອງອັບ­ຣາ­ຮາມ ຝ່າຍ​ເສດ­ຖີ​ນັ້ນ​ກໍ​ຕາຍ​ເໝືອນ​ກັນ ແລ້ວ​ເຂົາ​ກໍ​ຝັງ​ໄວ້.And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and that he was carried away by the angels into Abraham's bosom: and the rich man also died, and was buried.
23ເມື່ອ​ຢູ່​ໃນ​ແດນ​ມໍ­ລະ­ນາ​ກໍ​ເປັນ​ທຸກ​ເວ­ທະ­ນາ​ຫລາຍ ເສດ­ຖີ​ນັ້ນ​ຈິ່ງ​ເງີຍ​ຕາ​ຂຶ້ນ​ເຫັນອັບ­ຣາ­ຮາມຢູ່​ໄກ ແລະ​ເຫັນລາ­ຊະ­ໂຣຢູ່​ໃນ​ເອິກ​ຂອງ​ທ່ານ.And in Hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24“ແລ້ວ​ເສດ­ຖີ​ຈິ່ງ​ຮ້ອງ​ວ່າ ‘ອັບ­ຣາ­ຮາມ ບິ­ດາ​ເອີຍ, ຂໍ​ເອັນ­ດູ​ຂ້າ­ນ້ອຍ​ແດ່­ທ້ອນ ຂໍ​ຈົ່ງ​ໃຫ້ລາ­ຊະ­ໂຣມາ ເພື່ອ​ຈະ​ໄດ້​ເອົາ​ປາຍ​ນິ້ວ​ມື​ຈຸ່ມ​ນ້ຳ​ມາ​ແປະ​ໃສ່​ລີ້ນ​ຂ້າ­ນ້ອຍ​ໃຫ້​ຊຸ່ມ​ເຢັນ​ດ້ວຍ​ວ່າ​ຂ້າ­ນ້ອຍ​ກຳ­ລັງ​ທົນ​ທຸກ­ທໍ­ລະ­ມານ​ຢູ່​ໃນ​ແປວ­ໄຟ​ນີ້’.And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am in anguish in this flame.
25ແຕ່ອັບ­ຣາ­ຮາມຕອບ​ວ່າ, ‘ລູກ​ເອີຍ, ເຈົ້າ​ຈົ່ງ​ລະ­ນຶກ​ວ່າ​ເມື່ອ​ເຈົ້າ​ຍັງ​ມີ​ຊີ­ວິດ​ຢູ່ ເຈົ້າ​ໄດ້​ຮັບ​ຂອງ​ດີ​ສຳ­ລັບ​ຕົວ​ແລະລາ­ຊະ­ໂຣໄດ້​ຮັບ​ຂອງ​ບໍ່​ດີ ຢ່າງ​ດຽວ​ກັນ​ນັ້ນ​ແຫລະ, ບັດ​ນີ້ລາ­ຊະ­ໂຣໄດ້​ຮັບ​ຄວາມ​ເລົ້າ​ໂລມ​ຢູ່​ທີ່​ນີ້ ແລະ​ເຈົ້າ​ໄດ້​ຮັບ​ຄວາມ­ທຸກ​ທໍ­ລະ­ມານ.But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and Lazarus in like manner evil things: but now here he is comforted and thou art in anguish.
26ນອກ​ນັ້ນ​ອີກ, ລະ­ຫວ່າງ​ພວກ​ເຮົາ​ກັບ​ພວກ​ເຈົ້າ​ຍັງ​ມີ​ເຫວ​ອັນ​ໃຫຍ່​ຊຶ່ງ​ຊົງ​ຕັ້ງ​ຂວາງ​ຢູ່ ເພື່ອ​ວ່າ​ຖ້າ​ຜູ້​ໃດ​ທີ່​ປາດ­ຖະ­ໜາ​ຈະ​ຂ້າມ​ທີ່​ນີ້​ໄປ​ເຖິງ​ພວກ​ເຈົ້າ​ກໍ​ບໍ່​ໄດ້ ຫລື​ບໍ່​ໃຫ້​ເຂົາ​ຂ້າມ​ຈາກ​ທີ່​ນັ້ນ​ມາ​ເຖິງ​ພວກ​ເຮົາ’.And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, that they that would pass from hence to you may not be able, and that none may cross over from thence to us.
27ເສດ­ຖີ​ນັ້ນ​ຈິ່ງ​ເວົ້າ​ວ່າ ‘ບິ­ດາ​ເອີຍ, ຖ້າ​ຢ່າງ​ນັ້ນ ຂໍ​ທ່ານ​ໃຊ້ລາ­ຊະ­ໂຣໄປ​ຍັງ​ເຮືອນ​ພໍ່​ຂອງ​ຂ້າ­ນ້ອຍ.And he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house;
28ເພາະ­ວ່າ​ຂ້າ­ນ້ອຍ​ມີ​ອ້າຍ​ນ້ອງ​ຫ້າ​ຄົນ ເພື່ອ​ໃຫ້ລາ­ຊະ­ໂຣໄປ​ຕັກ­ເຕືອນ​ເຂົາ ເພາະ​ຢ້ານ​ວ່າ​ເຂົາ​ຈະ​ເຂົ້າ​ມາ​ໃນ​ບ່ອນ​ທໍ­ລະ­ມານ​ນີ້ ເໝືອນ​ກັນ’.for I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29ແຕ່ອັບ­ຣາ­ຮາມຕອບ​ວ່າ ‘ເຂົາ​ມີໂມ­ເຊແລະ​ພວກ​ຜູ້​ປະ­ກາດ​ພຣະ­ທຳ​ແລ້ວ ໃຫ້​ເຂົາ​ຟັງ​ຄົນ​ເຫລົ່າ­ນັ້ນ​ສາ’.But Abraham saith, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30ເສດ­ຖີ​ຈິ່ງ​ຕອບ​ວ່າ ‘ອັບ­ຣາ­ຮາມ ບິ­ດາ​ເອີຍ, ບໍ່​ແມ່ນ​ຢ່າງ​ນັ້ນ​ດອກ ແຕ່​ຖ້າ​ຄົນ​ໜຶ່ງ​ຈາກ​ໝູ່​ຄົນ​ຕາຍ​ໄປ​ຫາ​ເຂົາ ເຂົາ​ຄົງ​ຈະ​ຖິ້ມ​ໃຈ​ເກົ່າ​ເອົາ­ໃຈ​ໃໝ່’.And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one go to them from the dead, they will repent.
31ອັບ­ຣາ­ຮາມຈິ່ງ​ຕອບ​ວ່າ ‘ຖ້າ​ເຂົາ​ບໍ່​ຟັງໂມ­ເຊແລະ​ພວກ​ຜູ້​ປະ­ກາດ​ພຣະ­ທຳ ເຖິງ​ຈະ​ມີ​ຄົນ​ໜຶ່ງ​ຄືນ​ມາ​ຈາກ​ຕາຍ ເຂົາ​ກໍ​ບໍ່​ຍອມ​ເຊື່ອ​ເໝືອນ​ກັນ’.”And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, if one rise from the dead.
