1	ອັບ­ຣາ­ຮາມໄດ້​ແຕ່ງ­ງານ​ກັບ​ຍິງ​ອີກ​ຜູ້​ໜຶ່ງ​ຊື່­ວ່າ ເກ­ຕຸ­ຣາ.	And Abraham took another wife, and her name was Keturah.
2	ນາງ​ໄດ້​ປະ­ສູດ​ລູກ​ຊາຍ​ຫລາຍ​ຄົນ​ໃຫ້​ເພິ່ນ​ຄື ຊິມ­ຣານ ໂຢກ­ຊານ ເມ­ດານ ມີ­ດີ­ອານ ອີ­ຊະ­ບາກແລະຊູ­ອາ.	And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.
3	ໂຢກ­ຊານເປັນ​ພໍ່​ຂອງເຊ­ບາແລະເດ­ດານ ລູກ​ຊາຍ​ທັງ­ຫລາຍ​ຂອງເດ­ດານຄື ຊາວອັດ­ຊີ­ເຣຍ ຊາວເລ­ຕູ­ຊີມແລະ​ຊາວເລ­ອຸມ­ມີມ.	And Jokshan begat Sheba, and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.
4	ລູກ​ຊາຍ​ຂອງມີ­ດີ­ອານ ເອ­ຟາ ເອ­ເຟ ຮາ­ໂນກ ອາ­ບີ­ດາ ແລະເອັນ­ດາ­ອາ ພວກ​ເຂົາ​ທັງ​ໝົດ​ນີ້​ເປັນ​ລູກ​ຫລານ​ຂອງ​ນາງ ເກ­ຕຸ­ຣາ.	And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.
5-6	ອັບ­ຣາ­ຮາມໄດ້​ມອບ​ມໍ­ລະ­ດົກ​ທຸກ​ສິ່ງ​ໃຫ້ອີ­ຊາກກ່ອນ​ເສຍ​ຊີ­ວິດ ເພິ່ນ​ໄດ້​ແບ່ງ​ຊັບ​ສິ່ງ​ຂອງ​ບາງ​ສ່ວນ​ໃຫ້​ລູກ​ຊາຍ​ທີ່​ໄດ້​ຈາກ​ເມຍ​ຜູ້​ທີ​ສອງ​ທຸກໆ​ຄົນ​ແລ້ວ​ໃຫ້​ພວກ​ເຂົາ​ໜີ​ຈາກອີ­ຊາກລູກ​ຊາຍ​ຂອງ​ຕົນ ໄປ​ຢູ່​ທາງ​ດິນ­ແດນ​ທິດ­ຕາ­ເວັນ­ອອກ.	And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac. But unto the sons of the concubines, that Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts. And he sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country.
7-8	ອັບ­ຣາ­ຮາມເຖົ້າ​ແກ່​ຫລາຍ ເພິ່ນ​ໄດ້​ເຖິງ​ແກ່​ກຳ​ໄປ​ຢູ່​ນຳ​ພີ່­ນ້ອງ​ທີ່​ຕາຍ​ໄປ​ກ່ອນ​ແລ້ວ​ເມື່ອ​ອາ­ຍຸ 175 ປີ.	And these are the days of the years of Abraham's life which he lived, a hundred threescore and fifteen years. And Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full [of years], and was gathered to his people.
9	ອີ­ຊາກແລະອິດ­ຊະ­ມາ­ເອນລູກ​ຊາຍ​ຂອງ​ເພິ່ນ​ໄດ້​ຝັງ​ສົບ​ໄວ້​ໃນ​ອຸບ​ມຸງ ມັກ­ເປ­ລາ ໃນ​ນາ​ທີ່​ເພິ່ນ​ໄດ້​ຊື້​ຈາກ ເອ­ຟະ­ໂຣນລູກ​ຊາຍ​ຂອງໂຊ­ຮາຊາວຮິດ­ຕີ ຢູ່​ທາງ​ຕາ­ເວັນ​ອອກ​ຂອງ​ເມືອງມາມ­ເຣ.	And Isaac and Ishmael his sons buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre.
10-11	ສົບ​ຂອງອັບ­ຣາ­ຮາມແລະ​ເມຍ​ຂອງ​ເພິ່ນ​ກໍ​ໄດ້​ຝັງ​ໃນ​ນາ​ຕອນ​ນີ້​ຄື​ກັນ ຫລັງ​ຈາກອັບ­ຣາ­ຮາມໄດ້​ເຖິງ​ແກ່​ກຳ​ໄປ​ແລ້ວ ພຣະ­ເຈົ້າຊົງ​ອວຍ­ພອນອີ­ຊາກຜູ້​ຊຶ່ງ​ໄດ້​ອາ­ໄສ​ຢູ່​ໃກ້​ນ້ຳ­ສ້າງ​ທີ່​ຊື່­ວ່າ, “ນ້ຳ­ສ້າງ​ຂອງ​ອົງພຣະ­ຜູ້­ເປັນ­ເຈົ້າຜູ້​ຊົງ​ເຫັນ​ຂ້ອຍ.”	The field which Abraham purchased of the children of Heth. There was Abraham buried, and Sarah his wife. And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed Isaac his son. And Isaac dwelt by Beer-lahai-roi.
12	ເຊື້ອ­ສາຍ​ຂອງອິດ­ຊະ­ມາ­ເອນລູກ​ຊາຍອັບ­ຣາ­ຮາມ ແລະ​ນາງຮາ­ກາຄົນເອ­ຢິບ ຊຶ່ງ​ເປັນ​ສາວ​ໃຊ້​ນາງຊາ­ຣາມີ​ດັ່ງ­ນີ້:	Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, bare unto Abraham.
13	ຊື່​ລູກ​ຊາຍ​ຂອງອິດ­ຊະ­ມາ­ເອນຕາມ​ລຳ­ດັບ​ກຳ­ເນີດ​ຄື ເນ­ບາ­ໂຢດລູກ­ກົກ ຕໍ່​ມາເກ­ດາ ອັດ­ເບ­ເອນ ມິບ­ສາມ.	And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the first-born of Ishmael, Nebaioth, and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
14-16	ມິ­ຊະ­ມາ ດູ­ມາ ມັດ­ສາ ຮາ­ດັດ ເຕ­ມາ ເຢ­ຕູ­ເຣ ນາ­ຟິດແລະເກ­ເດ­ມາຄົນ​ເຫລົ່າ​ນີ້​ແມ່ນ​ລູກ​ຊາຍ​ຂອງອິດ­ຊະ­ມາ­ເອນຊຶ່ງ​ຊື່​ຂອງ​ພວກ​ເຂົາ​ກາຍ­ເປັນ​ຊື່​ບ້ານ ຊື່​ບ່ອນ​ພັກ​ອາ­ໄສ ແລະ​ຊື່​ສິບ​ສອງ​ເຜົ່າ​ໃນ​ຈຳ­ນວນ​ເຜົ່າ​ຕ່າງໆ.	and Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa, Hadad, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their villages, and by their encampments. Twelve princes according to their nations.
17	ເມື່ອອິດ­ຊະ­ມາ­ເອນມີ​ອາ­ຍຸ 137 ປີ ເພິ່ນ​ກໍ​ເຖິງ​ແກ່​ກຳ​ໄປ​ຢູ່​ນຳ​ພີ່­ນ້ອງ​ທີ່​ຕາຍ​ໄປ​ກ່ອນ​ແລ້ວ.	And these are the years of the life of Ishmael, a hundred and thirty and seven years. And he gave up the ghost and died, and was gathered unto his people.
18	ເຊື້ອ­ສາຍ​ຂອງອິດ­ຊະ­ມາ­ເອນໄດ້​ອາ­ໄສ​ຢູ່​ໃນ​ດິນ­ແດນ ລະ­ຫວ່າງ​ເມືອງຮາ­ວິ­ລາ ຈົນ​ເຖິງ​ເມືອງຊູ­ເຣທາງ​ທິດ­ຕາ­ເວັນ­ອອກ​ຂອງ​ປະ­ເທດເອ­ຢິບທາງ​ໄປ​ສູ່​ປະ­ເທດອັດ­ຊີ­ເຣຍ ພວກ​ເຂົາ​ອາ­ໄສ​ຢູ່​ຕ່າງ­ຫາກ​ຈາກ​ຍາດ​ພີ່­ນ້ອງ​ຂອງ​ເຂົາ.	And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur that is before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria. He abode over against all his brethren.
19	ເລື່ອງ​ຂອງອີ­ຊາກລູກ​ຊາຍ​ຂອງອັບ­ຣາ­ຮາມ ເປັນ​ມາ​ດັ່ງ­ນີ້:	And these are the generations of Isaac, Abraham's son. Abraham begat Isaac.
20	ອີ­ຊາກມີ​ອາ­ຍຸ​ໄດ້​ສີ່​ສິບ​ປີ ເມື່ອ​ແຕ່ງ­ງານ​ກັບ​ນາງເຣ­ເບ­ກາ ນ້ອງ​ສາວລາ­ບານລູກເບ­ທູ­ເອນ ຊາວອາ­ຣາມ ຊຶ່ງ​ມາ​ຈາກ​ປະ­ເທດເມ­ໂຊ­ໂປ­ຕາ­ເມຍ.	And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Paddan-aram, the sister of Laban the Syrian, to be his wife.
21	ຍ້ອນ​ນາງເຣ­ເບ­ກາບໍ່​ມີ​ລູກ ອີ­ຊາກຈຶ່ງ​ອະ­ທິ­ຖານ​ຕໍ່ພຣະ­ຜູ້­ເປັນ­ເຈົ້າ ພຣະ­ອົງ​ຊົງ​ຕອບ​ຄຳ​ອະ­ທິ­ຖານ​ຂອງ​ລາວ ໂດຍ​ໃຫ້​ນາງເຣ­ເບ­ກາຖື­ພາ.	And Isaac entreated Jehovah for his wife, because she was barren. And Jehovah was entreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
22	ເມື່ອ​ນາງ​ຖື­ພາ​ຢູ່​ນັ້ນ ລູກ​ຝາ­ແຝດ​ໄດ້​ບຽດ​ສຽດ​ກັນ​ຢູ່​ໃນ​ທ້ອງ ນາງ​ຈຶ່ງ​ເວົ້າ​ວ່າ, “ຖ້າ​ຫາກ​ເປັນ​ເຊັ່ນ​ນີ້ ເປັນ​ຫຍັງ​ຂ້ອຍ​ຈຶ່ງ​ຢາກ​ມີ​ລູກ?” ແລ້ວ​ນາງ​ຈຶ່ງ​ໄປ​ອ້ອນ­ວອນ​ກາບ​ທູນ​ຕໍ່ພຣະ­ເຈົ້າກ່ຽວ​ກັບ​ເລື່ອງ​ນີ້.	And the children struggled together within her. And she said, If it be so, wherefore do I live? And she went to inquire of Jehovah.
23	ພຣະ­ຜູ້­ເປັນ­ເຈົ້າກ່າວ​ວ່າ, “ເດັກ​ສອງ​ຄົນ​ທີ່­ຢູ່​ໃນ​ທ້ອງ​ຂອງ​ເຈົ້າ ຈະ​ເກີດ​ເປັນ ປະ­ຊາ­ຊົນ​ສອງ​ປະ­ເທດ​ຕໍ່­ສູ້​ກັນ ຜູ້​ໜຶ່ງ​ຈະ​ແຂງ­ແຮງ ກວ່າ​ອີກ​ຜູ້​ໜຶ່ງ ອ້າຍ​ຈະ​ຮັບ​ໃຊ້​ນ້ອງ.”	And Jehovah said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, And two peoples shall be separated from thy bowels. And the one people shall be stronger than the other people. And the elder shall serve the younger.
24-25	ຄັນ​ຢູ່​ຕໍ່​ມາ ນາງ​ກໍ​ອອກ­ລູກ​ຝາ­ແຝດ​ສອງ​ຄົນ ລູກ​ຊາຍ​ຜູ້​ອອກ​ກ່ອນ​ແດງ ແລະ​ມີ​ຂົນ​ເຕັມ­ຕົວ​ຄື​ເສື້ອ​ທີ່​ເຮັດ​ດ້ວຍ​ຂົນ​ສັດ ດ້ວຍ​ເຫດ​ນີ້​ເພິ່ນ​ຈຶ່ງ​ເອີ້ນ​ລາວ​ວ່າ ເອ­ຊາວ.	And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb. And the first came forth red, all over like a hairy garment. And they called his name Esau.
26	ເມື່ອ​ນ້ອງ​ລາວ​ເກີດ​ມາ ມື​ກໍ​ຈັບ​ສົ້ນ​ນ່ອງ​ຂອງເອ­ຊາວໄວ້ ສະ­ນັ້ນ​ເພິ່ນ​ຈຶ່ງ​ເອີ້ນ​ລາວ​ວ່າ ຢາ­ໂຄບ ເມື່ອ​ລູກ​ຊາຍ​ຝາ­ແຝດ​ທັງ​ສອງ​ເກີດ ອີ­ຊາກອາ­ຍຸ​ໄດ້​ຫົກ​ສິບ​ປີ​ແລ້ວ.	And after that came forth his brother, and his hand had hold on Esau's heel. And his name was called Jacob. And Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.
27	ເມື່ອ​ເດັກ­ນ້ອຍ​ທັງ​ສອງ​ໃຫຍ່​ເຕີບ​ໂຕ​ຂຶ້ນ​ມາ ເອ­ຊາວໄດ້​ກາຍ­ເປັນ​ນາຍ­ພານ​ທີ່​ເກ່ງ​ກ້າ ແລະ​ຊຳ­ນານ ລາວ​ເປັນ​ຄົນ​ທີ່​ບໍ່​ມັກ​ຢູ່​ເຮືອນ.	And the boys grew. And Esau was a skilful hunter, a man of the field. And Jacob was a quiet man, dwelling in tents.
28	ສ່ວນຢາ­ໂຄບເປັນ​ຄົນ​ສຸ­ຂຸມ ແລະ​ມັກ​ຢູ່​ແຕ່​ໃນ​ເຮືອນ ອີ­ຊາກຮັກເອ­ຊາວເພາະ­ວ່າ​ໄດ້​ກິນ​ຊີ້ນ​ທີ່​ລາວ​ຫາ​ມາ​ໄດ້ ສ່ວນ​ນາງເຣ­ເບ­ກາຮັກຢາ­ໂຄບ.	Now Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison. And Rebekah loved Jacob.
29	ມື້­ໜຶ່ງ ເມື່ອຢາ­ໂຄບກຳ­ລັງ​ເຮັດ​ແກງ​ຢູ່ ພໍ­ດີເອ­ຊາວກັບ​ມາ​ແຕ່​ລ່າ​ສັດ ລາວ​ຫິວ​ຫລາຍ.	And Jacob boiled pottage. And Esau came in from the field, and he was faint.
30	ຈຶ່ງ​ເວົ້າ​ກັບຢາ­ໂຄບວ່າ, “ຂ້ອຍ​ຂໍ​ກິນ​ແກງ​ໝາກ­ຖົ່ວ​ແດງ​ເຈົ້າ​ຈັກ​ຄຳ​ແດ່­ທ້ອນ ຂ້ອຍ​ຫິວ​ຈະ​ຕາຍ​ຢູ່​ແລ້ວ” (ດ້ວຍ​ເຫດ­ຜົນ​ດັ່ງ­ກ່າວ​ນີ້ ເພິ່ນ​ຈຶ່ງ​ເອີ້ນເອ­ຊາວວ່າ ເອ­ໂດມ).	And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red [pottage]. For I am faint. Therefore was his name called Edom.
31	ແຕ່ຢາ­ໂຄບຕອບ​ວ່າ, “ຂ້ອຍ​ຈະ​ໃຫ້​ເຈົ້າ​ກິນ ຖ້າ​ເຈົ້າ​ຫາກ​ຂາຍ​ສິດ­ທິ​ອ້າຍ​ກົກ​ໃຫ້​ຂ້ອຍ.”	And Jacob said, Sell me first thy birthright.
32	ເອ­ຊາວເວົ້າ​ວ່າ, “ເບິ່ງ​ແມ! ຂ້ອຍ​ຫິວ​ໃກ້​ຈະ​ຕາຍ​ຢູ່​ແລ້ວ ສິດ­ທິ​ອ້າຍ​ກົກ​ຈະ​ມີ​ປະ­ໂຫຍດ​ຫຍັງ​ກັບ​ຂ້ອຍ.”	And Esau said, Behold, I am about to die. And what profit shall the birthright do to me?
33	ຢາ­ໂຄບຈຶ່ງ​ເວົ້າ​ວ່າ, “ສາ­ບານ​ກ່ອນ​ແມ! ວ່າ​ເຈົ້າ​ຈະ​ມອບ​ສິດ­ທິ​ອ້າຍ​ກົກ​ໃຫ້​ຂ້ອຍ” ເອ­ຊາວຈຶ່ງ​ສາ­ບານ​ແລ້ວ​ຂາຍ​ສິດ­ທິ​ອ້າຍ​ກົກ​ຂອງ​ຕົນ​ໃຫ້ຢາ­ໂຄບ.	And Jacob said, Swear to me first. And he sware unto him. And he sold his birthright unto Jacob.
34	ຄັນ​ແລ້ວ ຢາ­ໂຄບຈຶ່ງ​ເອົາ​ເຂົ້າ­ຈີ່ ແລະ​ແກງ​ໝາກ­ຖົ່ວ​ໃຫ້ເອ­ຊາວ ລາວ​ກິນ ແລະ​ດື່ມ​ຈົນ​ອີ່ມ ແລ້ວ​ກໍ​ໜີ​ໄປ ການ​ປະ­ໝາດ​ສິດ­ທິ​ອ້າຍ​ກົກ​ຂອງເອ­ຊາວກໍ​ເປັນ​ມາ​ດັ່ງ­ນີ້​ແຫລະ.	And Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils. And he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way. So Esau despised his birthright.
