ຈົດໝາຍຂອງ ໂຢຮັນ ສະບັບຕົ້ນ

1	ເບິ່ງແມ, ພຣະບິດາຊົງໂຜດປະທານຄວາມຮັກແກ່ເຮົາທັງຫລາຍເປັນຢ່າງໃດທີ່ພຣະເຈົ້າຊົງເອີ້ນພວກເຮົາວ່າບຸດຂອງພຣະອົງ ແລະພວກເຮົາກໍເປັນຢ່າງນັ້ນແລ້ວ ເຫດທີ່ໂລກບໍ່ຮູ້ຈັກເຮົາທັງຫລາຍ ກໍເພາະເຂົາບໍ່ຮູ້ຈັກພຣະອົງນັ້ນແຫລະ.	Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God; and [such] we are. For this cause the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2	ພວກທີ່ຮັກເຮົາເອີຍ, ບັດນີ້ເຮົາເປັນບຸດຂອງພຣະເຈົ້າແລ້ວ ແລະຍັງບໍ່ໄດ້ຊົງສະແດງໃຫ້ຮູ້ຄັກວ່າຕໍ່ໄປພວກເຮົາຈະເປັນຢ່າງໃດ ແຕ່ພວກເຮົາຮູ້ວ່າ ເມື່ອພຣະອົງນັ້ນ ຈະສະເດັດມາປະກົດນັ້ນ ເຮົາທັງຫລາຍຈະເປັນເໝືອນພຣະອົງ ເພາະວ່າພວກເຮົາຈະເຫັນພຣະອົງຢ່າງທີ່ພຣະອົງຊົງເປັນຢູ່ນັ້ນ.	Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is.
3	ທຸກຄົນທີ່ມີຄວາມຫວັງໃນພຣະອົງດັ່ງກ່າວມານີ້ ກໍຊຳຮະລ້າງຕົນໃຫ້ບໍລິສຸດເໝືອນພຣະຄຣິດຊົງບໍລິສຸດ.	And every one that hath this hope [set] on him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
4	ທຸກຄົນທີ່ເຮັດບາບກໍເຮັດຜິດຕໍ່ພຣະບັນຍັດເໝືອນກັນ ບາບເປັນສິ່ງທີ່ຜິດຕໍ່ພຣະບັນຍັດ.	Every one that doeth sin doeth also lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.
5	ເຈົ້າທັງຫລາຍຮູ້ແລ້ວວ່າພຣະຄຣິດໄດ້ຊົງປະກົດເພື່ອຍົກເອົາຜິດບາບໄປເສຍ ແລະພຣະອົງນັ້ນບໍ່ຊົງມີບາບເລີຍ.	And ye know that he was manifested to take away sins; and in him is no sin.
6	ຜູ້ໃດຕັ້ງໝັ້ນຢູ່ໃນພຣະອົງ ຜູ້ນັ້ນກໍບໍ່ເຮັດບາບຕາມເຄີຍຜູ້ໃດທີ່ຍັງເຮັດບາບຕາມເຄີຍ ຜູ້ນັ້ນຍັງບໍ່ເຫັນພຣະອົງ ແລະຍັງບໍ່ຮູ້ຈັກພຣະອົງ.	Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither knoweth him.
7	ລູກນ້ອຍທັງຫລາຍເອີຍ, ຢ່າໃຫ້ຜູ້ໃດຊັກຈູງພວກເຈົ້າໃຫ້ຫລົງ ຜູ້ທີ່ເຮັດຕາມຄວາມທ່ຽງທຳ ກໍເປັນຜູ້ທ່ຽງທຳ ເໝືອນພຣະຄຣິດຊົງທ່ຽງທຳ.	[My] little children, let no man lead you astray: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous:
8	ຜູ້ທີ່ເຮັດບາບຕາມເຄີຍກໍມາຈາກມານ ເພາະວ່າມານໄດ້ເຮັດບາບຕັ້ງແຕ່ຕົ້ນເດີມມາ ພຣະບຸດຂອງພຣະເຈົ້າໄດ້ສະເດັດມາປະກົດກໍເພາະເຫດນີ້ແຫລະ ຄືເພື່ອຊົງທຳລາຍກິດຈະການຂອງມານເສຍ.	he that doeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. To this end was the Son of God manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
9	ຜູ້ໃດທີ່ເກີດຈາກພຣະເຈົ້າ ກໍບໍ່ເຮັດບາບຕາມເຄີຍ ເພາະສະພາບຂອງພຣະອົງຊົງດຳລົງຢູ່ໃນຜູ້ນັ້ນແລະຜູ້ນັ້ນບໍ່ອາດເຮັດບາບຕາມເຄີຍ ເພາະຕົນໄດ້ບັງເກີດມາຈາກພຣະເຈົ້າ.	Whosoever is begotten of God doeth no sin, because his seed abideth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is begotten of God.
10	ດັ່ງນີ້ແຫລະ, ຈຶ່ງເຫັນໄດ້ວ່າຜູ້ໃດເປັນບຸດຂອງພຣະເຈົ້າແລະຜູ້ໃດເປັນລູກຂອງມານ ຄືວ່າຜູ້ໃດທີ່ບໍ່ໄດ້ເຮັດຕາມຄວາມທ່ຽງທຳຫລືບໍ່ຮັກພີ່ນ້ອງຂອງຕົນຜູ້ນັ້ນກໍບໍ່ໄດ້ມາຈາກພຣະເຈົ້າ.	In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
11	ດ້ວຍວ່ານີ້ແຫລະ, ເປັນຂໍ້ຄວາມທີ່ເຈົ້າໄດ້ຍິນໄດ້ຟັງຕັ້ງແຕ່ເດີມແລ້ວຄືໃຫ້ພວກເຮົາຮັກຊຶ່ງກັນແລະກັນ.	For this is the message which ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another:
12	ຢ່າໄດ້ເປັນເໝືອນກາອິນຜູ້ມາຈາກມານແລະໄດ້ຂ້ານ້ອງຂອງຕົນເສຍ ດ້ວຍເຫດໃດລາວຈຶ່ງຂ້ານ້ອງ ກໍເພາະການເຮັດຂອງຕົນຊົ່ວ ແລະການເຮັດຂອງນ້ອງນັ້ນຊອບທຳ.	not as Cain was of the evil one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
13	ພີ່ນ້ອງທັງຫລາຍເອີຍ, ຖ້າໂລກນີ້ກຽດຊັງພວກເຈົ້າຢ່າປະຫລາດໃຈ.	Marvel not, brethren, if the world hateth you.
14	ຝ່າຍເຮົາທັງຫລາຍຮູ້ແລ້ວວ່າ ພວກເຮົາໄດ້ຍ້າຍອອກຈາກຄວາມຕາຍເຂົ້າສູ່ຊີວິດແລ້ວກໍເພາະພວກເຮົາຮັກພີ່ນ້ອງ ຜູ້ໃດທີ່ບໍ່ຮັກ ຜູ້ນັ້ນກໍຍັງຢູ່ໃນຄວາມຕາຍ.	We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not abideth in death.
15	ຜູ້ໃດທີ່ກຽດຊັງພີ່ນ້ອງຂອງຕົນກໍເປັນຜູ້ຂ້າຄົນ ແລະເຈົ້າທັງຫລາຍຮູ້ແລ້ວວ່າ ຜູ້ຂ້າຄົນບໍ່ມີຊີວິດອັນຕະຫລອດໄປເປັນນິດຕັ້ງຢູ່ໃນຕົນຈັກຄົນ.	Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
16	ດັ່ງນີ້ແຫລະ, ເຮົາທັງຫລາຍຈຶ່ງຮູ້ຈັກຄວາມຮັກ ໂດຍທີ່ພຣະຄຣິດໄດ້ຊົງຍອມສະຫລະພຣະຊົນຂອງພຣະອົງເພື່ອເຮົາທັງຫລາຍ ຝ່າຍພວກເຮົາຄວນຈະສະຫລະຊີວິດຂອງພວກເຮົາເພື່ອພີ່ນ້ອງເໝືອນກັນ.	Hereby know we love, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
17	ແຕ່ຖ້າຜູ້ໃດມີຊັບສົມບັດໃນໂລກນີ້ແລະເຫັນພີ່ນ້ອງຂອງຕົນຂັດສົນ ແລ້ວຍັງບໍ່ຍອມມີໃຈເມດຕາຊ່ອຍເຫລືອຜູ້ນັ້ນ ຄວາມຮັກຕໍ່ພຣະເຈົ້າຈະດຳລົງຢູ່ໃນຕົນໄດ້ຢ່າງໃດ.	But whoso hath the world's goods, and beholdeth his brother in need, and shutteth up his compassion from him, how doth the love of God abide in him?
18	ລູກນ້ອຍທັງຫລາຍ, ຢ່າໃຫ້ເຮົາຮັກດ້ວຍຄວາມເວົ້າແລະດ້ວຍປາກເທົ່ານັ້ນ ແຕ່ຈົ່ງສະແດງຄວາມຮັກອັນແທ້ຈິງດ້ວຍການກະທຳ.	[My] Little children, let us not love in word, neither with the tongue; but in deed and truth.
19	ດ້ວຍເຫດນີ້ແຫລະ, ເຮົາທັງຫລາຍກໍຮູ້ແລ້ວວ່າພວກເຮົາຢູ່ຝ່າຍຄວາມຈິງພວກເຮົາຈຶ່ງມີຄວາມແນ່ໃຈຕໍ່ພຣະພັກພຣະອົງ.	Hereby shall we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our heart before him:
20	ເພາະວ່າຖ້າໃຈຂອງພວກເຮົາກ່າວໂທດໃສ່ຕົວເຮົາເມື່ອໃດ ພຣະເຈົ້າຊົງເປັນໃຫຍ່ກວ່າໃຈຂອງພວກເຮົາ ແລະພຣະອົງຊົງຊາບທຸກໆ ສິ່ງ.	because if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
21	ພວກທີ່ຮັກເອີຍ, ຖ້າໃຈຂອງພວກເຮົາບໍ່ກ່າວໂທດໃສ່ຕົວເຮົາ ເຮົາກໍມີຄວາມແນ່ໃຈຕໍ່ພຣະພັກພຣະເຈົ້າ.	Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, we have boldness toward God;
22	ແລະພວກເຮົາຂໍສິ່ງໃດ ເຮົາກໍໄດ້ສິ່ງນັ້ນຈາກພຣະອົງ ເພາະວ່າພວກເຮົາຖືຮັກສາຂໍ້ບັນຍັດຂອງພຣະອົງແລະປະຕິບັດຕາມຊອບພຣະໄທພຣະອົງ.	and whatsoever we ask we receive of him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.
23	ນີ້ແຫລະ, ເປັນຂໍ້ບັນຍັດຂອງພຣະເຈົ້າຄືວ່າ ໃຫ້ເຮົາທັງຫລາຍວາງໃຈເຊື່ອໃນພຣະນາມຂອງພຣະເຢຊູຄຣິດ ພຣະບຸດຂອງພຣະອົງ ແລະໃຫ້ພວກເຮົາຮັກຊຶ່ງກັນແລະກັນ ຕາມທີ່ພຣະຄຣິດໄດ້ຊົງບັນຍັດໄວ້ແກ່ພວກເຮົາ.	And this is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as he gave us commandment.
24	ຜູ້ໃດທີ່ຖືຮັກສາບັນດາຂໍ້ບັນຍັດຂອງພຣະອົງ ກໍຕັ້ງຢູ່ໃນພຣະອົງ ແລະພຣະອົງຊົງສະຖິດຢູ່ໃນຜູ້ນັ້ນ ດ້ວຍເຫດນີ້ແຫລະ, ເຮົາທັງຫລາຍຈຶ່ງຮູ້ວ່າພຣະອົງຊົງສະຖິດຢູ່ໃນພວກເຮົາ ຄືດ້ວຍພຣະວິນຍານທີ່ພຣະອົງຊົງໂຜດປະທານແກ່ພວກເຮົາແລ້ວ.	And he that keepeth his commandments abideth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.
